Education Days:
Tweetsie's "Learning Express"

Take your students on a trip back in time! Tweetsie’s “Learning Express” provides a unique opportunity for teachers to make history, math & science both memorable and fun. For many years now, students have been able to study our historic steam locomotives and the importance of the East Tennessee & Western North Carolina Railroad (ET&WNC) in textbooks…with the “Learning Express,” students at all grade levels can do more than read about it—they can experience it first hand! The end result is a history, math and science lesson your students will never forget!

Purchase of an Education Days “Learning Express” daily admission ticket gives you a full day of fun at Tweetsie Railroad including the opportunity to take a ride on our “Learning Express” Train, which pulls out of Main Street at 11:00am and 1:00pm daily.

Our 2012 Education Days "Learning Express" will be offered every Friday April 20-May 25, and every Friday after Labor Day through October 26.

Visitor Comments

My family and I just visited Tweetsie twice in June, and I just wanted to tell you how much fun we had. My husband and I visited many times as children, but it was even more wonderful it was to share the experience with our children. Every staff member at Tweetsie was so very nice. They were kind and courteous and treated our 8-year-old daughter like a princess. Tweetsie is a great family theme park and I hope it is around for a long, long time!”
